We had high hopes for this trip but the experience was beyond our wildest dreams. Brilliantly organised, beautiful weather, stunning scenery, friendly participants and locals, what more could we ask for? On top of that, the opportunity to do something that many would envy a few get to do and live to tell the takle, driving the Sloc and Snaefell mountains on the wrong side of the road! Afternoon tea at the Creg-Ny-Baa and a lovely gala dinner evening with a great band, motor museums, and plenty of time to explore the island  added up to a fabulous weeks holiday. thank you so much to everyone at Scenic Car Tours for organising everything. I have recently returned from the Isle of Man 'Festival of Motoring Tour, and I felt that I should congratulate you and your wonderful team on the excellent arrangements that you put together.  I travelled in my Brother in law's Morgan in Car No. 43, and although I am now 80 years of age this was the first time that I had set foot in a Morgan in my lifetime, this quite amused some of your other guests. Before my retirement I was a Retail Travel Agent in Bedford and area for over 45 years. I also specialised in arranging and escorting groups, both public and corporate to various destinations all over the world, it was therefore of particular interest to me to witness your expertise in planning this event. It must have been very difficult and complicated for you over the past two years. however, your skills of research and attention to detail were admirable. We stayed at the Comis Hotel which was situated in a beautiful location, the staff there were always helpful and friendly. One of the highlights of the trip was the Gala Dinner and in particular the superb band that you arranged at very short notice following the covid outbreak amongst the original musicians. They played unbelievably good music from the 50's & 60's and I sang my heart out ! I also enjoyed the commentary by 'Milky' the retired TT Rider together with 'Alan's impressions of riding a high-powered bike from a hotel chair. It was always good to see you and your team appearing at every point during our 3 days, conducting the cars and guests in a most professional manner. Your liaison with the local police and other authorities worked like a dream. The whole 'Festival' was a great experience that I will never forget, particularly your sense of humour that made us all feel at home and happy.  Well donee, you run a most Professional Tour Agency of which I'm sure you must be proud. What a brilliant event and a huge thank you to you and the rest of the team for ensuring everything went to plan.  For us, we felt it was a nice combination of "free time" and "events time" so we got the chance to drive to a few places and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the local shops and restaurants. Will we do anything different next year ? Yes, stay for a few days longer to really enjoy the island. From the three TVR drivers we will do a writeup for our monthly club magazine so hopefully we can have far more present at this event in 2022.
